What a great day at the Foreshore park foot-way at Rhodes, it started out great meeting with the council organizer Helen and fellow chalker Adam Celeban. The footpath was tar, which is OK until the temperature started hitting 32 dergrees, with the sun beating down with no shade, whew, a grueling task to say the least. We pressed on and had a great time meeting the locals, families, bike riders and passers-by, greeting them with a reminder that this was about the new Chinese year celebrations which happen to be of the year of the snake. Here are some pics from the day.
Before I had a chance for another photo a lovely little whippet come out of nowhere and wanted to see what I was doing.
This was Adams effort at the end of the day, great work as usual, I just love his characters.
Here are some far shots of my composition, I left the center blank, my original intent was to make the snake weave under the path, just too ambitious , the size was a lot bigger than anticipated and the heat slowed me down, no problems I will make up for it on my next snake on Sunday…keep watching this spot, regards Arto
